Terms of service

Last updated 15 October 2026

About these terms

These terms govern your use of the monetisation.ai website and application (the "Service"), provided by the administrator of the monetisation.ai service ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms, the privacy policy, the refund policy and the cookie policy. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that company.

The Service is intended for businesses and professionals. You must be at least 18 to use it.

What the Service does

Monetisation is software that reads data from sources you connect, builds a model of your revenue, lists opportunities to earn more with estimated impact ranges, helps you run experiments and reports their results. It includes a one-time sample audit of a public website, an AI analyst, a weekly digest, competitor pricing watch, a discount leakage monitor, exports and, depending on the plan, team seats, SSO SAML, an audit log and API access. The features of each plan are those listed on the pricing page at the time you subscribe.

Accounts

You register with an email address and a password, then confirm the address with a code. Keep your credentials secret and tell us at once at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for everything done through your account and by the members you invite to your workspace. Each seat is for one named person.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Every plan is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly in US dollars, as shown at checkout.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals and your access lasts until the end of the period already paid.
  • Moving to a higher plan or from monthly to yearly billing charges the difference immediately, and the new plan applies once that payment succeeds. Moving to a lower plan takes effect at the next renewal.
  • Prices may change for future periods. We tell you by email before a new price applies to your renewal, and you can cancel before it does.
  • Taxes are added where the law requires them.
  • Every plan is paid. The one-time sample audit lets you see output before you pay.

Plan limits

Each plan has limits, such as connected sources, audits per month, experiments started per month, experiments running at once, AI analyst questions per month, competitor pages watched and seats. Monthly limits are counted as usage within the billing period: an audit, experiment or question counts when it is started or asked. Deleting an audit, experiment or conversation does not give the usage back. Limits described as "at once" count items active at the same time. Unused allowance does not carry over to the next period.

Estimates are not guarantees

Every impact figure in the Service is an estimate, shown as a range with the method and assumptions used. Estimates depend on the data you connect and on assumptions about customer behaviour, which can be wrong. They are not a promise of results, financial advice or a guarantee of any outcome. You decide whether to make any pricing, packaging or business change, and you are responsible for that decision and for complying with the laws that apply to your prices and offers.

Connectors and your credentials

Connectors are read-only. We use the keys, tokens and connection details you provide only to read data for your workspace. The Service never changes prices, charges, customers or subscriptions in a connected account. You are responsible for granting access only to accounts you are allowed to share, for using read-only or restricted credentials where the source offers them, and for revoking access you no longer want. You confirm you have the right to let us process the data you connect, including any personal data of your own customers, for which you are the controller.

The experiment snippet

On plans that include it, you may install our JavaScript snippet on websites you own or control, to show variants of pages to your visitors with a holdout group. You are responsible for the content of each variant, for any notices and consents your visitors need under the law that applies to your site, and for honest presentation of prices and offers. Do not install the snippet on sites you do not control.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • run audits or competitor pricing watch on anything other than publicly available pages, try to reach pages behind a login, or use the Service to crawl sites beyond what an audit or watched page needs;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service, its models or its opportunity library, except where the law allows it despite this term;
  • resell the Service or share an account between organisations;
  • break or test our security, overload the Service, or get around plan limits or the one-per-visitor rule of the sample audit;
  • upload unlawful content, malware or data you have no right to share;
  • use the Service in breach of any law, including consumer protection and competition law.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules, and close the account for serious or repeated breaches.

Your data and our rights

Your workspace data remains yours. You give us the right to process it only to provide, secure and support the Service. We do not use your data to train AI models. The Service, its software and its content belong to us or our licensors, and these terms give you a right to use it during your subscription, not ownership of it.

Payments, refunds and chargebacks

Payments are final, except as set out in the refund policy. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact [email protected] first. Opening a chargeback without first using the refund process is a breach of these terms; we submit our records to your card issuer and may close the account permanently. If a renewal payment fails, the amount for the started period remains due and may be retried.

Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time in the billing settings and delete your workspace in the workspace settings. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if payment is not made, or if the law requires it. On termination, your right to use the Service ends at the end of the paid period, or at once for a serious breach, and your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Availability

We work to keep the Service available and secure. The Scale plan includes a 99.9 percent monthly uptime commitment as described on the pricing page. On other plans the Service is provided as it is and as available, and we may change or improve features as long as the core functions of your plan remain.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or business decisions taken on the basis of estimates or experiment results;
  • our total liability arising from the Service in any 12 month period is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in those 12 months.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for wilful misconduct, or rights a consumer has under mandatory law.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the administrator's seat. Disputes go to the competent courts of the administrator's seat, unless mandatory law gives a consumer the right to bring a claim in the courts where they live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the Service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we tell account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, you can cancel before it applies.
